Never one of my favorites - O'Fallon Historical Society

Rebuilt probably about 35 years ago, it has never, visually, been one of my favorites.
Home to the O'Fallon Historical Society, much of what I don't like about it has been done to make the place usable to the public for a meeting location.

The logs are well preserved and the place is well looked after.
For me it just has to much other stuff;
too much concrete ( a concrete foundation should never be visible under the logs ), too much addition and too much porch.
Nice chimney, but you can still see the footing of concrete.
It is interesting to note how two cabins were joined to make one.
I don't know if this is original or rebuild remodeling.
