Movies with log cabins - 'Cold Moutain"

While most of Cold Mountain was filmed far away in Europe, where ever the sets were built they did a good job of representing South Carolina in 1865.

I have not been able to find anything on whether or not the cabins were real buildings or just sets for the movie, but, since just about everything else in the movie was built for the movie, I would imagine that they were also.
None-the-less, they looked pretty good.

This was one of the larger cabins in the movie. The main house of one of the key families in the story.
This was the cabin of a widow in the movie.
Nice looking place.
Also represented in the movie were cabins from an old Cherokee village.

These next two are actual photos of cabins in a Cherokee village.
